From the October 31, 1966 Americus Times-Recorder

The second class of God and Country award recipients under the study of Pastor Vernon Robinson while he was at the First Methodist Church of Americus.  Pastor Robinson helped a total of 18 boys earn this award.  The award required one full year of meeting each Saturday.
